Dermatology Revenue Cycle Specialist

About the role

Join Clarity RCM, a fast‑growing dermatology‑focused revenue cycle management firm, as a Dermatology Revenue Cycle Specialist. This remote, full‑time position offers early‑career professionals broad exposure to billing operations, client management, and payer navigation.

Key responsibilities

• Own a defined set of client accounts, answer billing questions, monitor account health, flag issues and keep clients informed.
• Support senior account managers on larger, complex practices by preparing summaries, tracking open items and following up on outstanding issues.
• Research and resolve claim statuses across major payers, understand denial reasons and determine correct next steps.
• Monitor AR aging reports, identify patterns such as slow payers or recurring denial codes, and flag revenue bottlenecks.
• Review EOBs and ERAs, identify discrepancies and collaborate with the billing team to resolve them.
• Navigate practice management systems including ModMed, EZDERM, Nextech, DrChrono and eCW.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of medical billing experience with knowledge of claim flow and common denial codes.
• Self‑starter who tolerates ambiguity and can progress without perfect instructions.
• AI‑native mindset; comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Clear communicator who remains professional under pressure.

Required skills

• Medical billing and claim resolution.
• Familiarity with payer portals and denial code analysis.
• Experience with practice management software: ModMed, EZDERM, Nextech, DrChrono, eCW.
