Demand Planner

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring a Demand Planner for its Anderson, SC office. The role maintains an accurate Production, Sales and Inventory plan to meet company and customer expectations within acceptable inventory targets. It defines inventory targets and purchasing needs to support sales while exceeding service level and turns targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory Plan), improve processes, exceed service level expectations and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Define inventory needs to support customer replenishment and event execution.
• Obtain, analyze and interpret supply chain data from multiple sources.
• Define factory orders so there is enough finished product for forecasted demand.
• Coordinate receiving priorities and order exceptions with Distribution.
• Maintain reports such as financial forecasts, inventory projections and service performance.
• Schedule regular meetings and report supply chain failures and opportunities; capture root causes, corrective actions and accountability.
• Address customer emergencies and help resolve customer compliance disputes.
• Build relationships across the supply chain to spot process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Operations or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience.
• Statistical, analytical and mathematical aptitude.

Required skills

• Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
