Decision Science Analyst

About the role

Red Robin is hiring a Decision Science Analyst to build the analytical foundation of its Growth, Intelligence and Decisioning capability. The role connects customer, transaction, menu, pricing, media, digital and operational data to drive enterprise decisions, supporting initiatives such as First Choice segmentation, pricing strategy, menu innovation, loyalty optimization and hyper-local marketing. It works with internal teams (Marketing, Culinary, Pricing, Finance, Customer Experience, Operations, Executive Leadership) and external partners, and is open to remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze campaign, loyalty, CRM, menu, pricing, customer and media performance, quantifying ROI, ROAS, incrementality, retention impact, customer value and channel effectiveness.
• Design tests and controls, measure incrementality, forecast and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
• Mine and connect data from data warehouses, lakehouses and transactional platforms, and build customer segmentation, behavioral clustering and predictive modeling frameworks.
• Support First Choice segmentation, pricing strategy, menu optimization and customer acquisition with location intelligence and spatial analytics.
• Partner with business leaders to identify drivers of traffic, sales, frequency and profitability, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
• Build analytical dashboards and self-service environments covering customer behavior, loyalty, pricing, menu performance and media effectiveness.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics, decision science, customer analytics, business intelligence, marketing analytics or performance analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze and communicate complex analytical results to business leaders.

Required skills

• Strong SQL skills for extracting and manipulating large datasets.
• Dashboards built with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar tools.
