Daytime/Evening/Weekend Restaurant Host/Hostess

About the role

Landmark Hospitality is looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to manage guest flow during daytime, evening, and weekend shifts across its upscale venues. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth seating experience and supporting the restaurant team.

Key responsibilities

• Take and confirm reservations for brunch and dinner, entering notes for special occasions.
• Manage the seating chart, assign guests to servers, and maintain balance across sections.
• Greet guests, seat them, provide menus, and direct wait‑listed guests as needed.
• Handle phone calls, direct inquiries, and log messages accurately.
• Assist with waitlist management, bar area seating, and first‑come‑first‑serve dining.
• Keep the host station organized, rearrange tables for large parties, and report any issues to the manager.
• Address customer concerns, thank guests on departure, and offer a complimentary treat.
• Participate in staff meetings and help with opening and closing duties.
