Cyber Crime Initiative Coordinator – Digital Evidence Lab

About the role

The Attorney General’s Office is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Digital Evidence Laboratory (DEL) within the Criminal Bureau. This full‑time position provides administrative support for DEL programs and assists in coordinating statewide cyber‑crime initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quality and training initiatives for the DEL.
• Organize and serve as primary coordinator for the National Cyber Crime Conference.
• Act as liaison between conference staff, sponsors, and attendees.
• Support Massachusetts Digital Evidence Consortium activities in partnership with AGO staff and other Commonwealth agencies.
• Facilitate communication between the Massachusetts State Police and DEL for NCMEC Cyber Tipline reports.
• Schedule meetings, manage acquisition and inventory of support systems, and assist with budget administration.
• Organize case intake, maintain case files, and oversee archiving and disposal of evidence.
• Prepare reports on DEL activity and provide general administrative coverage within the Criminal Bureau.

Required profile

• Commitment to public service and ability to work in a dual‑supervision environment.
• Comfort handling sensitive and potentially disturbing case materials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating multi‑agency initiatives.
• Experience in administrative support, scheduling, and inventory management.
