CVICU Registered Nurse - Full Time Nights

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction, is hiring a full-time night shift Registered Nurse for its CVICU. The RN provides patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients, planning, directing and evaluating nursing care while following established standards, policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and conduct ongoing assessment and reassessment to meet changing patient needs
• Develop a comprehensive standard of care and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing plan of care
• Ensure accurate documentation, adequate supplies and knowledge of equipment operation
• Act as educator to peers, patients and families
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
• Clear and active RN licensure in the State of Florida
• At least 2 years of ICU experience
• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, including TB/PPD surveillance and new employee orientation

Required skills

• American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• CCRN preferred
