Customer Service Representative - Part Time

About the role

Circle K is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Store 2743039 at 333 Washington Road, Washington, Pennsylvania. The position covers customer service, cash handling, fuel console and lottery machine operation, and general store upkeep, with days and evenings shifts available.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service, greet customers and give helpful suggestions
• Ring up sales accurately on the cash register and handle cash, checks and other payments
• Operate the fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine and telecom transactions
• Maintain store cleanliness and equipment, report failures and maintenance needs to the Store Manager
• Complete build-to orders, receive and verify deliveries, keep stock rotated and place signage
• Control merchandise, cash and inventory, keep accurate records and report discrepancies
• Report incidents such as injuries, theft or unsafe conditions, and attend shift paperwork and meetings

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Retail sales experience preferred
• Ability to arrive on time and work as scheduled
• Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting up to 30 pounds overhead and 50 pounds to waist, bending, kneeling and standing for a full shift
• Ability to work mostly indoors with occasional exposure to cold, noise and outdoor work

Required skills

• Accurate operation of cash registers, scanners and other machines
• Basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Oral communication and clear expression of ideas

Hiring range: $13.50 to $14.00.
