Customer Account Associate – Walmart

About the role

The Customer Account Associate supports Nestlé’s Account Management team in delivering sales objectives for the Walmart customer portfolio. You will work closely with Account Directors, Account Managers and Finance partners to ensure accurate trade deductions, smooth distributor interactions, and reliable system administration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trade auditing and analysis, including deductions, fines, claims and post‑audit work (≈40% of time).
• Manage customer post‑audit claims, resolve disputes, and track claim status.
• Support forecasting, off‑invoice trade events, and alignment of customer and internal systems.
• Coordinate logistics and distribution activities with Nestlé Retail Services, prepare NRS materials and address connectivity issues (≈10%).
• Maintain customer item data, UPCs, pricing, and product attributes; set up new items in Osprey and customer systems (≈50%).
• Organise large‑scale planning meetings (JBP, ICP, industry events) and handle automated reporting, retailer reset calendars and category updates.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting account teams in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Ability to collaborate with finance, sales and distribution partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for claim resolution and stakeholder meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Osprey (Nestlé internal system) and other customer account management platforms.
• Trade deduction analysis and reconciliation.
• Data management of product attributes, UPCs and pricing information.
