CT Technologist – PRN (Weekend) – Iberville

About the role

This position supports exceptional patient care by performing routine computed tomography (CT) procedures safely and accurately. The technologist works on a PRN weekend schedule at the Iberville location, serving as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and ensure correct procedure selection.
• Operate CT equipment independently, including IV placement, to acquire diagnostic‑quality images.
• Review images before transmission and perform quality‑control checks in line with regulatory standards.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain consent, and maintain patient privacy and comfort.
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory management, equipment maintenance, and staff scheduling.

Required profile

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration (or eligibility within 90 days) and current state license for CT imaging.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and radiology information systems.
• Computer and web‑based application proficiency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
