CT Technologist II – Weekend

About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist II to work weekend shifts at its Muhlenberg location. You will perform computed tomography scans, ensure patient safety, and support radiology staff while delivering high‑quality imaging services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, injectors, and monitors to acquire diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Review images for quality, repeat scans when necessary, and prepare studies for PACS transmission.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain consent, and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Document technical notes, verify images, and promptly notify physicians of any adverse reactions or patient condition changes.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Technical School Diploma or accredited Radiography program graduate.
• Less than 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist (entry‑level).
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• State of Pennsylvania RT – Registered Technologist Radiology upon hire.
• Ability to lift/carry 40‑50 lb, stand for long periods, and walk 8‑10 miles per shift.
