Credit Risk Management Internship – Federal Reserve Cleveland

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Credit Risk Management Intern to support daily operations, research emerging risk topics, and assist with financial analysis of depository institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure core functions follow policy, procedure, and prudential risk requirements.
• Research and analyze emerging risk topics and financial condition reviews of depository institutions.
• Validate data and eligibility of loan collateral pledged to the Discount Window.
• Analyze complex financial statements for liquidity assessments.
• Prepare briefings, presentations, and recommendations for key decision‑makers.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green‑card holder.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with at least one semester remaining and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access or similar data‑access tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
