Corporate Environmental, Safety, Health Specialist

About the role

This role serves as a Safety, Health and Environmental specialist, supporting and coordinating compliance, performance, and capability development across factory operations. The position is focused 60 % on environmental matters and 40 % on safety and health, driving corporate standards, regulatory interpretation, and continuous improvement of SH&E systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as corporate contact and technical resource for safety, health and environmental compliance, guiding sites on policies, permits, reporting and audit readiness.
• Integrate environmental risk with safety and health frameworks, maintaining risk assessments for aspects, impacts, and operational changes.
• Drive implementation and improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SH&E management systems, standardizing procedures and tracking compliance gaps.
• Develop and deliver SH&E training, building site capability to interpret regulations and prepare for audits.
• Engage with regulatory agencies, external consultants and internal functions to coordinate inspections, investigations and ESG reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or a related SH&E function within manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Professional certification in environmental, safety or industrial hygiene disciplines is preferred.
