About the role

Oregano's is seeking enthusiastic cooks to join its kitchen team. You will help create high‑quality dishes while working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

Prepare food according to recipes and procedures, ensuring consistent quality.
Manage your assigned station efficiently to meet order timelines.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow sanitation and safety standards.
Assist teammates, including dishwashing, to keep operations running smoothly.
Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or incidents promptly.

Required profile

Experience in a high‑volume kitchen (preferred).
Valid state‑issued food safety and handling certification.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot or cold conditions.
Effective communication skills and manual dexterity.
