About the role

Oregano's is seeking enthusiastic cooks to help create delicious meals for our guests. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, following recipes and safety standards while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality dishes by accurately following recipes and procedures.
• Manage an assigned station efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, including assisting with dishwashing when needed.
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, and any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High‑volume kitchen experience preferred and weekend availability.
• Valid state‑issued food safety and handling certification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot or cold conditions.
• Minimum age 16 (18 to operate certain equipment) and effective communication skills.
