About the role
Dematic is seeking a Controls Engineer for its Technical Support team to provide remote assistance to customers on semi‑complex material handling systems, primarily during night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Support semi‑complex systems that integrate hardware and software, including schematic troubleshooting.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to Dematic customers and recommend productivity improvements.
- Travel 20‑30% to customer sites, which may include weekends and overtime.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service support within a related field.
- Experience in the material handling industry is preferred.
Required skills
- Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms.
- Controls hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Siemens and Modicon PLCs (a plus).
