Contracts Specialist II

About the role

Cotton Holdings, a diversified holding company serving disaster recovery, construction, logistics and related services, is seeking a Contracts Specialist II to manage contract development, negotiation and administration across its business units. The role ensures contracts protect company interests, comply with laws and align with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and modify a variety of agreements including master service agreements, statements of work, vendor and subcontractor contracts.
• Analyze contract terms to identify risks, recommend modifications and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and applicable regulations.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients, vendors and subcontractors, lead redlining efforts and oversee execution and routing of agreements.
• Maintain organized contract records, track milestones, renewal dates, deliverables, insurance requirements and compliance obligations.
• Identify, analyze and mitigate contractual risks, especially those related to construction, restoration and logistics.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure proper insurance, indemnification and risk allocation in all agreements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, Business Development and project teams, providing guidance on contract interpretation and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contractual risk management and compliance in construction or related industries.
• Ability to work independently on standard contracts and partner with senior specialists on high‑value or high‑risk agreements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
