Construction Project Manager – Data Center

About the role

TensorWave is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data‑center build. In this remote‑first role you will act as the on‑site owner’s representative, coordinating all construction activities from groundbreaking through commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the on‑site owner’s representative, overseeing every phase of the data‑center construction project.
• Manage the General Contractor and all sub‑trades, enforcing schedule, technical specifications, and the EHS safety plan.
• Own the project budget, tracking expenditures, change orders, and progress payments.
• Lead daily and weekly project meetings, coordinate RFIs and submittals, and resolve field‑level issues with Design and Engineering teams.
• Ensure construction work meets corporate quality standards and provides complete turnover documentation for Operations.

Required profile

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years managing complex, fast‑track construction projects, with at least 5 years in data‑centers or mission‑critical facilities.
• Deep understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and commissioning processes (Levels 1‑5).
• Ability to work remotely with regular travel to the project site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
