Construction Laborer – Entry Level (Galena Park, TX)

About the role

This entry‑level position supports marine and civil construction projects in Galena Park, TX. The Laborer I performs basic physical tasks such as site preparation, material handling, cleaning, and assisting skilled trades like carpenters, equipment operators, and welders. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve both land‑based and over‑water operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and handle construction materials.
• Assist tradespeople with tasks that require manual labor.
• Operate hand and power tools, including circular saws and hammers.
• Install and remove materials at heights using fall‑protection equipment.
• Operate motorized equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lb regularly.
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Good balance, physical strength, and the capacity to work outdoors in all weather.
• Authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
• Preferably at least 6 months of formwork or concrete construction labor experience.

Required skills
