Concessions Attendant

About the role

The Concessions Attendant works in FMC Ice Sports arenas, handling point‑of‑sale transactions, preparing and cooking food items, and keeping the concession stand clean and well‑stocked. The role supports a fast‑paced environment during events and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures for each shift according to training.
• Take customer orders, operate the POS system, and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of food‑service items while maintaining food‑safety standards.
• Stock inventory, monitor product levels and communicate needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and concession area.

Required profile

• Previous experience in basic food handling, sanitation and customer service (preferred).
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑changing environment.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends and long hours; must be at least 16 years old.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
