Complex Case Specialist – Special Programs

About the role

The Complex Case Specialist, Special Programs, provides expert support to channel partners and members by educating stakeholders on products, services, and complex case solutions. This role is a key point of contact for pre‑settlement cases involving catastrophic injuries, benefit preservation, trusts, and workers’ compensation settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively discuss, support and sell products and services, addressing specific settlement needs with clients.
• Develop rapport with external stakeholders, offering concierge‑level service and generating new referrals.
• Own a subset of high‑value, complex cases from referral to conversion, maintaining regular contact with settlement stakeholders.
• Strategize with Business Development Managers to overcome objections and advance cases.
• Serve as direct point of contact for channel partners and attend settlement mediations or roundtables as required.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supporting sales efforts and serving as a direct client contact.
• 3+ years experience in the trust industry and/or workers’ compensation space.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑starter able to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
