Compensation Project Manager (Remote)

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for a Compensation Project Manager to lead a major compensation transformation initiative. This primarily remote position will design and implement a market‑based compensation structure to help attract and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on job family assignments, benchmark data, and grade slotting recommendations.
• Develop and recommend compensation grade structures based on market pricing and internal benchmarking.
• Lead stakeholder and HR Business Partner meetings to present grade structure recommendations.
• Prepare control documentation, meeting materials, and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
• Support modeling, scenario planning, and draft salary administration guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Analytics, Social Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of broad‑based compensation experience covering salary surveys, job evaluation, or compensation analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently on project‑based tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V‑lookups, conditional formatting).
• Professional presentation development using PowerPoint.
