Community Manager – The Hayward on Mass Ave

About the role

Greystar is seeking a proactive Community Manager for The Hayward on Mass Ave in Washington, D.C. You will oversee daily property operations, lead the on‑site team, and ensure a high‑quality living experience for residents while meeting financial and compliance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all applicable housing regulations.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives, resident communications, and community events to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Oversee rent collection, fee processing, and resolve resident concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property or community management experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing regulations and operational best practices.
