Community Manager – RYE SoBo

About the role

This role manages the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, overseeing team members, daily activities, and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to meet revenue targets.
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile work performed, and manage petty‑cash and bank deposits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve applications, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and service requests promptly.
• Supervise property staff through hiring, training, performance management, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain owner relationships by providing property updates, tours, and addressing owner requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• All required state and local licenses/certifications for property management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Strong experience with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Management and supervisory skills to hire, lead, evaluate, and direct staff.
