Community Manager for Apartment Village

About the role

The Community Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations of an assigned apartment community, leading staff and ensuring financial and operational goals are met while complying with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, monitor revenues, set rent rates, and ensure timely rent collection and financial reporting.
• Approve vendor invoices, control expenditures, and manage petty cash within budget constraints.
• Oversee lease enforcement, resident applications, inspections, evictions, and collection of fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and ensuring maintenance standards.
• Supervise property staff through hiring, training, performance management, and uphold company values.
• Maintain owner relationships by providing updates, property tours, and responding to owner inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of independent and collaborative work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in internet use, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• All required state and local licenses/certifications for property management.
