Leasing Manager – Property Management

About the role

The Leasing Manager leads marketing, advertising, sales, and leasing activities for a residential community, driving revenue, occupancy, and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, advertising, rent pricing, concessions, and on‑site traffic to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, using print and internet strategies and property‑management software for reporting.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure unit readiness, conduct inspections, and create merchandising displays.
• Participate in the leasing process: generate traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and manage move‑in procedures.
• Analyze financial, traffic, and closing‑ratio reports to identify performance issues and present findings to owners and managers.
• Oversee lease renewal programs, resident communications, and move‑out assistance.
• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate leasing team members in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Valid state and local licenses or certifications as required for leasing management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on property.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to respond to resident and owner inquiries promptly.
