Communications Specialist

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Communications Specialist to join its Global Communications & Media team. Reporting to the Head of North America Communications, you will help shape public relations, brand awareness, and regional communication strategies across public safety and commercial enterprise markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the North America Communications team to support PR campaigns, product launches and thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Research, write and edit compelling customer stories that illustrate the impact of Motorola Solutions’ technology.
• Create a wide range of public‑facing content, including press releases, news features, media pitches, briefing documents and social‑media copy.
• Pitch stories to regional, technology and industry trade media, manage media lists and coordinate interview logistics.
• Track daily media coverage, analyze campaign performance and generate sentiment reports.
• Leverage generative AI and media‑intelligence tools to accelerate research, list building and content drafting.
• Provide PR logistics, media staffing and content amplification support for North American trade shows, events and customer summits.
