Marketing Manager – Public Sector

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our Public Sector vertical, focusing on government and defense customers. You will shape messaging, run campaigns and events, and ensure our security solutions reach the right buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the marketing strategy and execution for Aikido Strategics and Defense (ASD).
• Collaborate with content, web, PR, events and demand‑generation teams to launch ASD programs.
• Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with federal, government and defense buyers.
• Support field‑marketing activities such as industry events, private dinners and VIP programs.
• Drive government‑focused content, digital campaigns and maintain a strong online presence.
• Represent ASD priorities within the broader company marketing plan.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience marketing to government, defense or public‑sector audiences.
• Broad, cross‑functional marketing background across content, events, digital, web and campaign execution.
• Strong understanding of government/defense buyer nuances and messaging.
• Confidence to shape messaging and push back on generic commercial approaches.
• Ability to work independently and move projects forward across teams.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.
