Commercial Door and Hardware Installer

About the role

The Commercial Door and Hardware Installer joins CASEY Construction Group to install, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial doors and hardware, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install metal, glass, wood, and automatic doors, mounting frames, hinges, closers, panic hardware, locks, and handles according to specifications and codes.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on doors and hardware, replace worn parts, and conduct inspections to prevent issues.
• Measure door openings accurately, customize doors and hardware to fit specific dimensions, and ensure installations meet ADA and local building codes.
• Maintain equipment, track time and materials, and document all installation and repair activities.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a commercial door and hardware installer or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy doors and equipment.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in door installation and maintenance.
• Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
• Accurate measurement and customization of door hardware.

• Hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $35.00 based on experience.
