Comfort Station Attendant

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, delivering an exceptional experience for members and guests at the club’s comfort stations. This position is ideal for a personable, self‑motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in anticipating member needs.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests, providing personalized service.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages in accordance with club standards.
• Serve snacks and grab‑and‑go items while maintaining food safety and presentation.
• Open, stock, break down and secure the comfort station each day.
• Maintain inventory using FIFO, monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Keep the station, counters, coolers and surrounding area clean at all times.
• Process orders and charges accurately through the POS system.
• Verify guest IDs, monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service laws.

Required profile

• Previous bartending, hospitality or food‑and‑beverage experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with members and guests.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Current Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Must be 21 + years of age and able to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather, stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
