Clinical Research Coordinator I

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator I. The role is hybrid, allowing fieldwork in Miami or New York City, and supports innovative MRI‑based imaging, neuroinflammation studies, and behavioral paradigms investigating mood and anxiety disorders in adults and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chart review and pre‑screening to determine participant eligibility.
• Maintain enrollment procedures and coordinate study timelines, appointments, and visits.
• Collect and manage data, schedule meetings, and assist with project evaluation.
• Conduct moderate to complex research tests and adapt procedures under supervision.
• Operate clinical research equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and document adverse events.
• Identify and report protocol deviations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with participant recruitment, psychiatric assessment, imaging acquisition, and manuscript preparation.

Required profile

• Experience with clinical research coordination in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, data management, and documentation.
• Effective communication with study teams, participants, and treatment providers.
