Clinical Director, Clinical Research, Hematology

About the role

The Clinical Director (Principal Scientist) is responsible for planning and directing clinical research activities for new or marketed oncology medicines within the Hematology Section. The role covers the full spectrum of clinical development from pre‑clinical to post‑licensure.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and design clinical trials in alignment with the overall clinical development strategy.
• Provide medical oversight and conduct of ongoing or new clinical studies for investigational or marketed drugs.
• Analyze and summarize clinical findings to support safety, efficacy decisions, regulatory submissions and publications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including regulatory affairs, statistics, manufacturing and commercialization.
• Identify and engage leading investigators, maintain scientific knowledge, and represent the company at scientific meetings.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 3 years clinical medicine experience.
• At least 1 year of industry experience in drug development or academic biomedical research.
• Board certified or eligible in Oncology, Hematology or a related discipline (preferred).
• Proven record of scientific scholarship, publications and strong interpersonal skills.

What we offer

• Salary range $255,800 – $402,700 per year, with annual bonus and long‑term incentive eligibility.
