Clinical Coordinator RN – Physician Practice

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator RN supports daily operations of the physician practice, overseeing clinical staff, patient flow, and administrative tasks. This position acts as a key member of the leadership team, ensuring high‑quality patient care and seamless office functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations, visit flow, triage, EMR tools, pre‑visit planning, and care transitions.
• Assume clinical and administrative duties in the Director/Manager’s absence.
• Run end‑of‑day reports, manage no‑show communications, and complete office close procedures.
• Prepare daily charts, maintain electronic medical records, and ensure policy compliance.
• Assess staff competencies, provide remediation, and support quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN) and active Pennsylvania RN license.
• Minimum 3 years recent clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong time‑management and emotional intelligence.
• Project‑management capability and willingness to adapt to change.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
