About the role
The Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family & Children Services is seeking a Child Welfare Services Technician 1 to provide paraprofessional social services to clients and families in Macon, Bibb County.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients in locating and utilizing community resources such as legal, medical, and financial assistance.
- Conduct client intakes and prepare intake reports and history records.
- Maintain contact with other social service agencies and healthcare providers to monitor client progress.
- Organize delivery of specific social services within the community.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a social‑services related position.
