Social Services Program Coordinator – Macon RYDC

About the role

The Social Services Program Coordinator supports the delivery of case management and rehabilitation services for youth at the Macon RYDC facility. Working under supervision, you will plan, manage, and evaluate programs that address dependency, mental illness, youth development, and disability needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake services, assessments, and orientation for youth, determining eligibility and appropriate program placement.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling using cognitive‑behavioral techniques and life‑skills curricula.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings, develop service plans, and monitor progress toward behavioral goals.
• Prepare and submit required reports, maintain confidential case records, and support quality‑assurance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least four years of relevant experience, or two years in a lower‑level Social Services Program Coordinator role.
• Experience in mental health, substance‑abuse treatment, juvenile justice, or residential settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of risk‑reduction principles, assessment tools, and case management best practices.
