Child and Family Therapist

About the role

The Center for Human Development, Inc. seeks a full‑time Child and Family Therapist to provide direct treatment services in a clinic setting for children, adolescents, and parents experiencing mental and emotional disturbances.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and evaluate psychological tests and develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide counseling, individual, family, and group therapy, including Parent‑Child Interactive Therapy.
• Maintain clear and concise client reports and progress records.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field (or in‑progress with required credits).
• Two years of relevant mental‑health experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• LCSW/LPC or willingness to pursue licensure; PCIT certification or willingness to begin certification.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background and drug screening.

Required skills

• Ability to diagnose and treat mental illness and emotional disturbances.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Preparation of clear reports and maintenance of treatment records.
