About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining inventory in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription orders, ensuring accurate labeling and timely delivery.
- Monitor medication inventory, place and expedite orders, and manage expiration dates.
- Maintain records for controlled substances and comply with pharmacy policies and regulations.
- Provide customer service by answering phones and addressing inquiries.
- Support orientation and training of new pharmacy staff.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required; Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good math and basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to lift 25 lb and perform frequent standing, sitting, and keyboard use.
