About the role
Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for telemetry on nights, full time. The CNA is a member of the nursing team who contributes to patient comfort and well-being by performing assigned tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Required profile
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida
- Successfully passed the Certified Nursing Assistant exam
- American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers
- 2 years or more of acute care experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move patients and heavy equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a stressful environment, make sound decisions independently and work with attention to detail
The position involves physically demanding work, including long periods of standing, sitting and walking, and frequent assistance with patient care.
