About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a full-time day-shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its telemetry unit. The CNA is a member of the nursing team who contributes to patient comfort and well-being by performing assigned tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Required profile

High school graduate or equivalent.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
2 years or more of acute care experience preferred.

Required skills

Physical strength and endurance: grip >25 lbs for 10 seconds, pinch >5 lbs for 10 seconds, lift 35–50 lbs floor-to-table, carry 30 lbs for 25 feet, push/pull 40-lb carts, squat and kneel.
Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, TB/PPD surveillance, and maintenance of professional licenses and certifications.
