Certified Nursing Assistant (Concierge) - Full Time Days

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift. The CNA is a member of the nursing team who contributes to patient comfort and wellbeing by performing assigned tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida
• American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers
• 2 years or more of acute care experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients and heavy equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in a stressful environment, make sound decisions independently and work with attention to detail

Physical requirements

• The job can be physically demanding, with long periods of stooping, sitting, standing and walking
• Frequent assistance with lifting patients and heavy equipment

Threshold requirements

• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, including attendance at new employee orientation
• TB/PPD surveillance program
• Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification
