Certified Medical Assistant – Diabetes Management Clinic

About the role

The Certified Medical Assistant will support the Diabetes Management Clinic by providing individualized patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider. This role involves direct interaction with patients in person, via phone, and electronically.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and providers throughout each visit, ensuring preparation and answering patient questions.
• Document medical information accurately in the company’s data systems.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle confidential information in a fast‑paced environment.
• Support patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and manage patient registration as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience handling confidential information and working with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.
