CEO-in-Training Leadership Development Program

About the role

The CEO‑in‑Training (CIT) program prepares high‑performing leaders to eventually lead one of Cornerstone’s home health or hospice agencies. Over a 3‑to‑6‑month full‑time, salaried period, you will work side‑by‑side with an experienced Executive Director/CEO, gaining hands‑on experience in operations, clinical care and business management.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑the‑job training across all operational functions.
• Shadow clinical and administrative teams to understand the full scope of the business.
• Lead projects and deliver real‑time solutions for the host agency.
• Engage in self‑study of industry regulations and operational best practices.
• Demonstrate Cornerstone’s core values while aligning leadership skills.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven leadership experience.
• Strong track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Ability to create a vision and drive results.
• Willingness to obtain any required state licensing during the program.
• Open to relocation based on available opportunities.
