About the role

Join Ochsner’s multidisciplinary team as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, supporting cardiac catheterization procedures across Baptist, Clearview, and Jeff Hwy campuses. The position offers a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for cardiac catheterization.
• Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment, monitor patient vitals, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately for billing, manage digital images in PACS, and perform equipment quality control.
• Monitor radiation dose to ensure patient and staff safety and act as liaison to the Radiation Safety Officer.

Required profile

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state and ARRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations.
