About the role

Our venue is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join the kitchen staff on a part‑time basis. You will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes quickly while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and assemble ingredients for appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
Ensure all dishes meet high‑quality standards.
Report equipment issues to management promptly.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to sanitation protocols.
Follow health and safety guidelines, with ServiceSafe certification preferred.
Assist fellow cooks as needed.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.
At least 1 year of experience as a cook.
Knowledge of kitchen best practices, safe knife handling, and cooking methods.
Strong attention to detail, multitasking and communication abilities.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25+ pounds.
