Catering Cook – Full-Time

About the role

Landmark Hospitality is seeking experienced catering and line cooks to join the team at the Elkins Estate. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes for events and weddings in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of dishes according to approved recipes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Work across multiple kitchen line stations, cooking menu items in sync with the team.
• Measure ingredients, maintain knowledge of recipes, allergens, and food presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, follow food safety and sanitation protocols, and manage inventory using FIFO practices.
• Adhere to company policies, uniform standards, and flexible scheduling requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a full‑service, high‑volume kitchen or food‑service environment.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency with various cooking methods and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift 10‑50 lb, stand for long periods, and move frequently in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to execute recipes to specification and maintain organized workstations.
