Case Manager – Evening Shift for Urgent Accommodation Vouchers

About the role

The Case Manager works evenings to help families and pregnant people secure emergency hotel rooms, connect to longer‑term housing solutions, and access essential community resources. This full‑time position is based onsite at Compass Family Services’ San Francisco office and partner hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, information, referrals, and advocacy to families moving toward stable housing.
• Ensure families understand and follow program and hotel rules, mediating conflicts as needed.
• Connect families with housing problem‑solving support and longer‑term options.
• Maintain accurate client files and enter data into Salesforce and funder databases.
• Distribute daily meals to families at hotel sites and respond to urgent hotline calls.

Required profile

• Experience working with people in crisis and understanding of homeless/low‑income family issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Salesforce (preferred).

• Hourly wage $29‑$31 (37.5 h/week), non‑exempt.
