Bilingual Floater Case Manager

About the role

The Bilingual Floater Case Manager provides temporary case management support across Compass Family Services’ programs, stepping in when staff are absent or positions are vacant. This role offers exposure to a variety of family‑focused services while delivering trauma‑informed assistance in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Develop trusting relationships with families, supporting short‑ and long‑term stability goals.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and regular contact through office visits, home visits, and phone/email/text.
• Coordinate rent and subsidy payments with families and the finance team, addressing landlord or property‑manager issues.
• Maintain accurate client files, case notes, assessments, and service plans in Compass’ Salesforce database and ONE System.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Valid California driver’s license and eligibility to be a Zipcar driver.
• Experience working with people in crisis, especially homeless or low‑income families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliable work habits, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Salesforce (preferred).

• $33.33 hourly wage (non‑exempt), 37.5 hours/week.
