Care Partner (Part-Time) - CNA

About the role

Experience Senior Living is looking for a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its team of caregivers who support residents as they age. The role covers personal care, housekeeping and laundry, and reporting on resident needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living, following the service plan
• Perform daily housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned
• Review 24-hour reports, shift change reports and verbal reports as needed
• Accompany residents to scheduled life enrichment programs and promote their choices, independence and spiritual needs
• Prioritize tasks and report changes in resident needs to the Director of Health & Wellness and other departments
• Respond promptly to resident pendant/wearable calls and maintain infection control practices
• Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor, keep resident information confidential and respect residents' rights
• Be prepared for emergencies such as fires and disasters

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide certification required
• Medication assistance license or certificate preferred where state regulations require it
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Able to read, write and communicate simply, work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays, and meet dress code

Required skills

• Complete all state and Experience Senior Living training programs
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and management
• Customer service knowledge and ability to handle difficult situations
