Business Support Analyst 2 – Report Developer

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Business Support Analyst 2 to develop and maintain reports that support decision‑making across the Division of Aging Services. This permanent position works under general supervision to analyze operational data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, execute, and evaluate analytical activities across all Division of Aging Services programs.
• Conduct data analysis, disseminate findings, and prepare clear reports for management, partners, and external agencies.
• Analyze business requirements and propose effective, user‑friendly reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with technical staff to ensure automated systems comply with laws, regulations, and best‑practice standards.
• Partner with other departments, agencies, and vendors to address business issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide high‑level support for projects, grants, contracts, and implementation of new procedures.
• Assist in orientation, training, and task guidance for junior team members.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis.
• Demonstrates ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve efficiency.
• Exercises independent judgment and can partner effectively with multiple stakeholders.
