About the role

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a part‑time adjunct instructor to teach Business Healthcare Technology courses primarily online. The role combines virtual instruction with occasional travel to campus sites to meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver online classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain documentation and administrative reports.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and budget requests; ensure safety and security in training areas.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and other educators on instructional programs.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Business and Public Service Technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing, or a related field from a regionally accredited college.
• Work experience in a healthcare‑related office environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, billing, coding, and insurance.
• Understanding of pedagogical practice and post‑secondary vocational education.
