Business Development Specialist – K‑12 Teacher & Leader Evaluation Systems

About the role

This position offers an experienced K‑12 education leader the chance to expand impact beyond a single school or district. You will partner with superintendents, principals and HR leaders nationwide to drive instructional transformation and improve teacher and leader evaluation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with district decision‑makers, including superintendents, principals and HR leaders.
• Lead consultative discussions on teacher and leader evaluation frameworks, instructional improvement strategies and district‑wide goals.
• Manage the full business development pipeline from outreach to partnership agreements and ongoing relationship development.
• Deliver virtual and in‑person presentations, workshops and meetings for education leaders.
• Identify district challenges and align solutions that enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and program offerings based on client feedback.
• Represent the organization at conferences, district meetings and industry events.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a district‑level instructional leader, with direct involvement in HR or educator evaluation systems.
• Hands‑on experience with teacher and leader evaluation frameworks such as Marzano, Danielson or comparable systems.
• Proven track record leading or supporting instructional improvement initiatives in K‑12 environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior district and school leadership.
